Eli Torres, Artistic Director

Eli Torres is one of the top leading male salsa dancers in the Delaware Valley. He had the opportunity to choreograph for the Koresh Dance Company for the 20th Anniversary Dance Celebration "Dirty Dancing Party" for Patrick Swayze at the Annenberg Center in Philadelphia. He also choreographed for the son'd Hawaii Dance Company in Hawaii and Roseann Bruna School of Dance in Mantua, NJ. Eli has received numerous recognitions as a competitor - he was the winner of the 2002 Professional division at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ and he has placed in the top 5 in the 2003 Vaseline Intensive Care Smooth Moves Competition. He also gained recognition as a choreographer and has had his works commissioned by Telemundo, WHYY, and NBC Television. Currently, he is a freelance choreographer & performer. Eli also served on the faculties of Rittenhouse Dance Academy in Philadelphia, PA, La Luna Dance Studio in Bensalem, PA, and the Atrium Dance Studio in Pennsauken, NJ.
